Florida’s Hometown Heroes Program was created to make homeownership more affordable for the everyday heroes who keep our communities running. The Hometown Heroes Program provides down payment and closing cost assistance to eligible full-time workers in more than 100 essential professions. This assistance comes as a 0% interest loan that is repaid only when you sell, refinance, or no longer occupy the home as your primary residence.
